Meet Megan, Owner & Director of Playtime Academy
Hi everyone! My name is Megan, I’m a proud mom of two girls and one boy, a wife, and an entrepreneur. I’ve spent most of my life in the Folsom, Orangevale, and Fair Oaks area and love being part of this incredible community. I also serve on the PTA board at my children’s elementary school, which allows me to stay connected and involved in local education.
Early Childhood Education has been my passion since I was in elementary school. With over 20 years of experience, I’ve worked in a variety of roles—from teacher and aide to van driver, office coordinator, assistant director, and director. After earning my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2010, I gained hands-on experience working in local programs and continued to grow professionally.
During the 2020 quarantine, I decided it was finally time to finish my Bachelor’s degree. On March 14, 2022, I proudly graduated with a BA in Early Childhood Education Administration—a goal 20 years in the making!
In addition to my work in early childhood, I previously owned a children’s art studio, The Art Box, where I hosted creative workshops that helped inspire my belief in hands-on, expressive learning.
I bring strengths in communication, leadership, creativity, organization, and building meaningful relationships. My goal is to provide a high-quality, play-based, and nature-inspired environment where children feel safe, loved, and supported as they grow and learn.
I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education to continue learning and enhancing the care I provide.

Hi there, my name is Jasmin!
I'm actively completing my Early Childhood Education at Sierra College. I have two dogs who are living their best life. I'm a nature person who loves exploring, hiking, and being on the water with my paddle board. I love experiencing joy through children's eyes and am honored to be a part of their journey of learning and creating. I'm excited to be a part of Playtime Academy and be a positive, supportive role model while providing a safe, engaging, fun environment. I'm compassionate and nurturing. I feel those are essential to what it takes to fulfill my role here.

Hello, My name is Danna. I'm a mom of 2 beautiful girls in every sport/activity possible. I have been in childcare for 16+ years, working with all ages, but my passion is working with the little ones. I love how they light up when they learn something new or run up to me and hug me when I arrive. I am on every board and love being part of my community. If I'm not at work, I'm on the softball field, on the pool deck, on the dance floor watching my daughter's hip hop, or at home with my girls. I love every aspect of childcare and am ecstatic to be a part of the Playtime family.

I consider myself a very outgoing and caring person. On my free time I enjoy exploring new restaurants, coffee shops and traveling with friends and family.
Working with children has always been my strength. Seeing all their smiles brightens up my day’s. I am currently finishing my degree in childhood development.
I’m a strong believer that as a teacher we are given the ability to not just teach but inspire little human minds.
I’m so happy I get to be part of this amazing and beautiful team.

My name is Kelly. I am a mom to a wonderful little boy. When I'm not helping, doing crosswalk, or volunteering at Twin Lakes Elementary, you can find me at Playtime. I love working here, and I think all the kids at Playtime are lovely and cute.
