About the owner
Hi all, my name is Megan! I am so excited to start my journey as the owner of Playtime Academy. I am a mom of two girls and one boy, a wife, and an entrepreneur. I currently am a board member on the PTA at my children's elementary school and have lived in Folsom/Orangevale/Fair Oaks area most of my life and love this community!! Early Childhood Education has been my passion since I was in elementary school. With 20+ years of experience, one of my biggest goals was to complete my BA in early childhood education. After completing my associate degree in ECE in 2010, I continued my work experience at a local school as a teacher, aid, van driver, office coordinator, assistant director, director, everything. After being stuck at home during quarantine in 2020, I decided it was time to finish my next degree. On March 14th, 2022, I graduated with my BA in Early Childhood Education Administration. It only took 20 years, but I did it!! For 16 years, I’ve been working at a local school, working hard every day to provide the best of me to my staff, the children and families in my care. My strengths include good communication, leadership skills, creativity, organization, and interpersonal skills. I previously owned a children's art studio called The Art Box, specializing in art workshops for children. With my degrees and my entrepreneur/work experiences, I am ecstatic to accomplish my goal of owning a childcare facility. My experience and accomplishments have made me the director/owner I am today and have helped me provide the best care to all of the families I serve. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of Early Childhood Education and love for teaching and learning. Providing quality care and having a supportive staff to work with is a goal of mine. I plan to give the best of me to ensure all involved feel they are being listened to and appreciated for all they do. My overall goal is to provide a positive and productive work environment for my staff, efficient communication between the families and myself, and make sure all children in my care are loved and cared for appropriately through my studies in Early Childhood Education. Hi there, my name is Jasmin!
I'm actively completing my Early Childhood Education at Sierra College. I have two dogs who are living their best life. I'm a nature person who loves exploring, hiking, and being on the water with my paddle board. I love experiencing joy through children's eyes and am honored to be a part of their journey of learning and creating. I'm excited to be a part of Playtime Academy and be a positive, supportive role model while providing a safe, engaging, fun environment. I'm compassionate and nurturing. I feel those are essential to what it takes to fulfill my role here.

Hello, My name is Danna. I'm a mom of 2 beautiful girls in every sport/activity possible. I have been in childcare for 16+ years, working with all ages, but my passion is working with the little ones. I love how they light up when they learn something new or run up to me and hug me when I arrive. I am on every board and love being part of my community. If I'm not at work, I'm on the softball field, on the pool deck, on the dance floor watching my daughter's hip hop, or at home with my girls. I love every aspect of childcare and am ecstatic to be a part of the Playtime family.

Working with children has always been my strength. Seeing all their smiles brightens up my day’s. I am currently finishing my degree in childhood development.
I’m a strong believer that as a teacher we are given the ability to not just teach but inspire little human minds.
